Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium garage equipment
Because our vehicle storage systems are industrial-grade steel units weighing between 1,500 and 4,500 lbs, they are shipped via specialized flatbed or freight carrier lines. We offer two seamless shipping tiers at checkout:
- Regional Freight Terminal Pickup: We ship the system to your closest regional freight hub (e.g., Estes, YRC, TForce). They will load the crated system directly onto your truck or trailer using a forklift.
- Curbside Residential Delivery with Liftgate: The freight line delivers the system directly to your residential estate or shop driveway via a dedicated liftgate truck. (Note: Ensure your delivery site has a flat surface and adequate clearance for a full-sized freight truck).
For standard units currently in stock at our centralized domestic warehouse, delivery typically takes 5 to 7 weeks, depending on your location. For custom-tailored solutions, heavy commercial stackers (3-level/4-layer systems), or bespoke color profiles, please allow 8 to 12 weeks for precision manufacturing, customs clearance, and inland transport.
No. The price you see listed on our store is completely inclusive of all international import overhead, customs brokerage fees, and Section 301 tariffs. There are absolutely no hidden international import surprises at checkout.
While our standard 4-post and 2-post systems ship with comprehensive, step-by-step assembly manuals and video tutorials for the advanced DIYer, we strongly recommend professional installation. We maintain a trusted network of certified, independent heavy-equipment installers nationwide. We can easily pair you with a local team to handle the offloading, uncrating, mechanical assembly, and concrete anchoring for you.
A great rule of thumb to calculate your required ceiling height is:
Height of Vehicle 1 + Height of Vehicle 2 + Thickness of the Lifting Platform (approx. 4–6 inches) + Safety Buffer (3 inches)
If you have tight overhead restrictions, our specialized Stealth Tilting Lifts are custom-engineered to safely park low-profile sports cars and luxury sedans in low-clearance residential basements and multi-unit condominiums.
Safety is our baseline. Structural requirements vary by model:
- 4-Post & Tri-Level Systems: Require a minimum of 4 inches of structurally sound, 3,000 PSI reinforced concrete.
- 2-Post & Heavy Commercial Systems: Require a minimum of 4 to 6 inches of structurally sound, 3,000 to 4,000 PSI reinforced concrete depending on the model's capacity weight distribution.
Lifts should never be installed on asphalt, unstable brick pavers, or cracked, unreinforced residential pads.
Electrical Requirements
Standard Residential Lifts (2-Post & 4-Post): Typically operate on a standard 220V Single-Phase power unit, requiring a dedicated 20A or 30A breaker (similar to a household clothes dryer or electric oven).
Heavy Commercial Stackers & Automated Systems (PLC Controlled): Generally, require 220V Single-Phase or 380V/460V Three-Phase power configurations, depending on the cycle speed and commercial scale of the setup.
The StackHaus Standard: Engineered for Zero-Fail Peace of Mind
Every lift is engineered with multi-layered, redundant safety frameworks designed for total asset isolation.
- Certified Structural Integrity: Manufactured in fully ISO 9001 certified facilities, our lifts comply with rigorous global CE standards for structural load capacity, electrical logic, and hydraulic boundaries. Every model undergoes extensive 150% static and 115% dynamic load-limit safety testing before leaving the line.
- Fail-Safe Architecture: Columns utilize heavy-duty automatic mechanical locking ladders that engage every few inches, secondary anti-fall slack-cable linkages, rugged steel safety lock pins, and hydraulic flow-restrictor valves. Once lowered onto the mechanical locks, the system remains completely stable indefinitely without relying on hydraulic pressure.
- Elite Warranty & Parts Support: We back our engineering with a commanding 5-Year Structural Steel Warranty alongside a 12-Month Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical Component Warranty. To guarantee zero downtime, we pack a 2% complimentary spare parts allocation directly inside each container run for rapid domestic service fulfillment.
Complete digital documentation is available on demand. Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email link granting you access to your specific model's high-definition video assembly guides, structural footprint schematics for your architect, and official operational manuals.
